By using Rewired, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

When you use Rewired, we collect the following information:

• Onboarding Responses: Answers to questions about your lifestyle, attention patterns, screen time habits, emotional state, and goals
• User Preferences: Communication tone preferences, notification settings, and notification times
• Habits and Goals: Information about habits you want to change and goals you want to achieve
• Reflection Entries: Journal entries and emotional tone data you choose to record
• Task Data: Information about tasks you complete, completion status, and feedback on task difficulty

2. Automatically Collected Information

We automatically collect certain information when you use the App:

• Usage Data: Dopamine scores, adherence rates, XP points, level progression, streak data, and star points
• Journey Progress: Information about your progress through the 60-day journey system, including current day, phase, and task completion
• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version
• Chat Data: Messages you send to Nova (our AI coach) and responses received

3. Purchase and Subscription Information

• Subscription Status: Information about your subscription status and purchase history (processed through Apple's App Store and Superwall)
• Referral Codes: Referral codes you enter or generate

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

1. To Provide and Improve Our Services:
   • Generate personalized daily tasks based on your profile and progress
   • Provide AI-powered coaching through Nova
   • Track your progress through the journey
   • Calculate and display your dopamine scores, ratings, and achievements
2. To Personalize Your Experience:
   • Customize task difficulty based on your onboarding responses and progress
   • Provide personalized AI responses using your profile information
   • Adjust the journey system to match your needs
3. To Communicate With You:
   • Send push notifications for task reminders (if you opt in)
   • Provide support and respond to your inquiries
4. To Process Transactions:
   • Process subscription purchases and manage your account
   • Validate referral codes
5. To Maintain and Improve the App:
   • Analyze usage patterns to improve app functionality
   • Fix bugs and technical issues

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may collect or process your information:

1. OpenAI (via Supabase Proxy)

• Purpose: Powers the Nova AI coach feature
• Data Shared: Your chat messages, user profile information, onboarding responses, and current tasks

2. Superwall

• Purpose: Manages subscription paywalls and in-app purchases
• Data Shared: Subscription status, purchase information

3. Supabase

• Purpose: Backend infrastructure for API proxy and referral code validation and user data storage
• Data Shared: Referral codes, user IDs, subscription timestamps

4. Apple

• Purpose: App distribution, in-app purchases, push notifications
• Data Shared: Purchase information, device identifiers

Data Storage and Security

• Local Storage: Most of your data is stored locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults
• Cloud Storage: Referral code data and subscription information may be stored on Supabase servers. If you opt to log in to an account through Apple or another medium to save data, all identifiable information about your account may be stored in our servers as well to save your progress.
• Security Measures: We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:
  • Secure API communication (HTTPS)
  • Backend proxy for sensitive API keys
  • Secure storage of user data

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

• Local Data: Data stored on your device remains until you delete the app or clear app data
• Cloud Data: Aforementioned above is retained as necessary to provide services and comply with legal obligations
• Chat Data: Chat messages are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored on our servers (they are only sent to OpenAI for processing)

Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

1. Access: You can view your profile information and data within the app
2. Correction: You can update your profile information through the app settings
3. Deletion: You can delete the app to remove locally stored data. For cloud data, contact us at userewiredapp@gmail.com
4. Opt-Out: You can disable push notifications in your device settings or within the app
5. Data Portability: You can request a copy of your data by contacting us

Children's Privacy

Rewired is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 absent of parental/guardian permission. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
