Terms of Service for Rewired

Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Rewired mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Rewired is a mobile application designed to help users improve their focus, reduce digital distractions, and build healthy habits through a structured dopamine detox program. The App provides:

• Personalized daily tasks and challenges
• AI-powered coaching through "Nova"
• Progress tracking and gamification features
• A 60-day journey system with multiple phases
• Subscription-based premium features

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Rewired. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent's or guardian's permission to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

Account and Registration

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account information
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

Subscription and Payment Terms

Subscription Plans

Rewired offers subscription plans with different durations and pricing. All subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store.

Payment

• Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings on the App Store after purchase

Free Trial

If offered, free trial periods will be specified at the time of subscription. At the end of the free trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.

Cancellation and Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings
• Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period
• Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policy and App Store terms
• We do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods

Lifetime Purchases

If you purchase a lifetime subscription, you will have access to premium features for the lifetime of the App. "Lifetime" refers to the operational lifetime of the App, not your personal lifetime. If the App is discontinued, lifetime access will end.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

1. Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
2. Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
3. Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers connected to the App
4. Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App
5. Share your account credentials with others
6. Use the App to transmit any harmful code, viruses, or malware
7. Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
8. Violate any intellectual property rights of Rewired or third parties
9. Attempt to manipulate access to our AI service "Nova" via excessive and/or unnecessary messaging

Intellectual Property

• The App, including its design, features, content, and functionality, is owned by Rewired and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws
• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App
• All trademarks, service marks, and logos are the property of their respective owners

AI-Generated Content

The App uses artificial intelligence (OpenAI) to provide coaching and responses through Nova. You understand and agree that:

• AI responses are generated automatically and may contain errors or inaccuracies
• AI responses are not medical, legal, or professional advice
• You should not rely solely on AI responses for important decisions
• We are not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content

Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

Medical Disclaimer

Rewired is not a medical or mental health service. The App provides general wellness and habit-building guidance. It is not intended to:

• Diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition
• Replace professional medical, psychological, or psychiatric advice
• Provide therapy or counseling services

If you have a medical or mental health condition, consult with a qualified healthcare professional before using the App.

No Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• The App will meet your requirements or expectations
• Any errors or defects will be corrected
• The App is free of viruses or other harmful components

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REWIRED AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Rewired and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party

Termination

We reserve the right to:

• Suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause or notice
• Remove or delete any content or data associated with your account
• Discontinue the App or any part thereof at any time

Upon termination:

• Your right to use the App will immediately cease
• You will not be entitled to any refund of subscription fees (except as required by law)
• All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive

Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services, including:

• Apple App Store (for purchases and subscriptions)
• OpenAI (for AI functionality)
• Superwall (for subscription management)
• Supabase (for backend services)

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Posting the updated Terms in the App
• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Providing notice through the App or via email (if applicable)

Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through:

1. Good faith negotiation
2. If negotiation fails, binding arbitration in accordance with [Arbitration Rules]

Severability

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Rewired regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
